Manufacturing and Design Engineering Major
Northwestern University
Hi, I’m Lachlan Stevens, a student at Northwestern University. My core experiences lie in product design from multiple summer internships, and I’m passionate about incorporating sustainability within design. I believe collaboration is the most important aspect in my projects because it facilitates problem solving and allows me to blend my technical engineering skills with my interpersonal skills. I love that I’m able to incorporate different perspectives into my CAD and manufacturing processes. I believe this is what makes a design great, and I am comfortable taking on different roles in a team to facilitate this process.
This coming summer, I will incorporate these skills in the workforce as a Project Manager Intern at ARCO Murray, a design engineering firm in Chicago, IL.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, cooking, and listening to music. I hope you enjoy perusing my portfolio!
